Embry Riddle Aeronautical University is the world's leader in aviation education. A couple of dozen years after the Wright Brothers invented flight, Embry Riddle Company was formed by Talton Higbee Embry and John Paul Riddle as an aircraft dealer and airmail carrier business. The business was a success and it eventually led to the company forming American Airlines until after World War II when it then switched gears and turned into an aeronautical school which has continued to where it is today: Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
